Last day, 62 cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) were confirmed in Lithuania.
22 of them were registered in Vilnius, 17 in Kaunas, 15 in Šiauliai, 3 in each of Panevėžys and Klaipėda counties. One case was registered in Marijampolė and Alytus counties last day, reported the National Center for Public Health (NVSC).
Case 1 was confirmed for an employee of a furniture manufacturing company operating in Panevėžys county, Kupiškis district. A total of 2 related cases were registered. The first was approved on September 12. A resident of the Kupiškis district, whose circumstances could not be determined by epidemiologists.
NVSC reports that a total of 3504 cases of COVID-19 disease have been confirmed in Lithuania, 1254 people are still ill, 2149 – have recovered.
