Sh.Doherty wrote that he underwent mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. He admitted that his nose was often bleeding after chemotherapy and that he suffered from constant and extreme fatigue. She showed these ailments by posing with a cotton swab to her nose to try and stop her nosebleed.
Still, the actress did not shy away from making fun of herself: after a difficult image that illustrates a difficult moment, she was followed by a much happier one, in which she poses in colorful pajamas.
“I decided to cheer myself up by wearing fun pajamas donated by my friend Kristy. Did that amuse me? Really so! I looked very funny and could laugh at myself. Humor helped me endure what seemed impossible. I hope we all find something to laugh about, even when it seems impossible, ”said Shannen Doherty.

People.lt recalls that in 2020 in February, the actress admitted that breast cancer had reappeared. She hid this diagnosis for almost a year.
At that time, Sh. Doherty told Good Morning America that the hardest thing for her was her mother Rosa and her husband Kurt Iswarienko. With tears in his eyes, Doherty admitted: “I am petrified, you cannot even imagine how scared I am. My mother is an infinitely strong woman, as is my husband. But I am worried about them.”

Shannen said she spoke about her health because the cancer diagnosis would be made clear in court documents in a lawsuit she filed with State Farm home insurance company. The actress accuses the company of failing to compensate for the damage to her home during the California fires.
In June 2017, Shannen Doherty rejoiced in regaining her strength after chemotherapy. She battled breast cancer for more than two years. The diagnosis was late: Shannen said she had missed a scheduled doctor visit due to the manager’s negligence, and by the time it became clear, the cancer had already touched the lymph nodes. I had to have a breast removed, I needed chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions, but in April 2017, the disease receded and Shannen gradually returned to the filming location.
