“Companies understand that the transition to commercial electric transportation is inevitable, so they are now beginning to invest in process changes,” says Simonas Ramanauskas, CEO of Busnex. “That is why we decided to offer the market an attractive alternative to conventional internal combustion freight buses:” EC35 “electric commercial freight buses.
The National Climate Change Management Plan prepared by the Lithuanian Ministry of the Environment foresees this for 2023. Municipalities in all cities in the country must establish low-pollution zones where conventional car traffic will be restricted or completely prohibited.
These limitations are presented in pursuit of the European Union’s goal of making Europe the first climate-neutral continent and achieving its net greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050. It would be zero.
According to S. Ramanauskas, companies that provide goods or services to businesses and people located in city centers will not be able to do without the electric transport of goods.
“Restrictions will be introduced sooner or later, so companies should start updating their service cargo fleet now and get used to the peculiarities of working with electric transportation. By preparing for the change in advance, companies would avoid sudden costs or stagnation in the future. “
The new EC35 electric minibus has a 38.7 kWh battery and an 80 hp motor.
The minibus supports fast charging, in which the battery charges in just 90 minutes. In normal mode, the battery charges in 7-8 hours.
The fully electric DFSK EC35 is an extremely compact and efficient minibus, ideal for city work.
Despite its fairly compact dimensions (4500x1680x1985 mm), the EC35 is extremely spacious.
The nominal load of the freight bus is 1090 kg and the volume of the cargo compartment is 4.8 m3.
Busnex is already inviting you to buy the first DFSK EC35 electric freight buses at an attractive price at the SERES car showroom, located at 26 J. Tiškevičiaus Street, Vilnius.
