Where did the money go?
Klaipeda residents bought tickets for the concert that was supposed to take place on May 1 in Kaunas, Žalgiris Arena, in the winter.
A ticket costs 66 euros each. An additional payment of 9.6 euros was made for seats in the Audi club area, for which a total of 75.6 euros was charged for the ticket.
The man bought two tickets for more than 151 euros.
“My brother and I waited so long for D.Coverdale to finally arrive, because he is one of the best singers in the world. It had to be like a visit from a pope. That artist should be heard every day by the Culture Committee of Seimas, the Ministry of Culture, the entire LRT This is the only way in this backward state with a “cheer up” mentality to get away from the Soviet past and the West, because the West itself is not just money from NATO funds and The EU is also a multifaceted and multifaceted culture. All this came out? Afera? – spoke the Klaipeda resident. “By the way, respect for the Kaunas government, which invited Tarja Turunen last year.”
The man sent an email to Bilietai.lt, the company that sold the Whitesnake concert.

“On March 24, I received a notification from this company that ticket reimbursement will start from May 1, 2020. Buyers will be informed about it by a special message. But so far I have not received that message. I think other people haven’t received it, “the customer was surprised.
He will write a statement to the police.
The man who bought the tickets said that as soon as May ended, he would write a statement to police about the alleged fraud.
“If you bought a product in an online store for 150 euros and you didn’t pay for it, what would it be called? The robbery would lead to a criminal investigation,” the man reasoned. “And here you take your money, you don’t get the goods, and there is silence. After all, someone took euros, someone still has an account.” The concert did not take place due to the quarantine, but due to the fact that D. Coverdale had to undergo an inguinal hernia operation, the event was canceled, which means that the organizers did not pay royalties to the artists, they did not pay the Žalgiris Arena rental, hotels or transportation. The question is, who now has the hundreds of thousands of euros collected from people? – taught the man.
Even better porn
Klaipėda was also upset that when buying Whitesnake concert tickets, he did not know why he had to pay a supplement for the Audi club area.
“I have never encountered this money-making practice before. I was forced to become a member of the Audi club, although I have never had that brand of car, I am a fan of Maserati. I, the buyer, became a doorman. Where Did those prison traditions come? ” The man asked.
He also appreciated the offers made during the quarantine to make up for lost event tickets with coupons.
“And what can they offer? Coupons for the AC / DC concerts of the band, Judas Priest, maybe Tom Keifer, Klaus Meine, Ozzy or Rush are to come? Stop laughing. I saw that there will be a Pixies show of the band. Or maybe F. Kirkorov will be invited again or G.Leps? Let him go himself, it is better to leaf through pornographic magazines, “said the Klaipėda resident.
If refund procedures for missed events are not yet explained, will ticket distributors offer a refund for the ticket sale?
The representatives of the company “Bilietai.lt” did not even respond to the journalists’ request by email.
It is also unclear whether anyone will refund the Audi club fee paid for seats at the Kaunas Arena Hall.
Mantas Vedrickas, a representative of Žalgiris Arena, assured that the client will be reimbursed for the ticket, including the Audi club fee.
“For this full refund, the customer must contact the ticket distributor,” said Vedrick.
He gave a promise to return
Aleksandras Karablikovas, director of the company that organized the concert, Live Nation Lietuva, explained that the group’s concert “Whitesnake” did not take place due to the group’s decision.
We are also preparing for the ticket refund procedure, which should start on June 1. The customer can always choose the alternative and has the right to request a refund.
“The tour was canceled by the artists themselves. Initially it was considered to move the tour. But to date we have not received such confirmation. Therefore, we plan to start reimbursing the tickets. Under current procedures, we could only start reimbursing when Announce cancellation of quarantine. The decision to extend the quarantine until the end of the summer would automatically extend the deadline for reimbursements. This has been explained by the State Consumer Protection Service, “said A. Karablikov.
The head of the company assured that the situation was still being discussed in quarantine with the State Service for the Protection of Consumer Rights.
The law, which clarifies how losses due to lost events should be compensated, went into effect on May 13.
As provided by law, the service provider has the right to set a later date for the event due to the quarantine ban imposed in the event of an event.
The event must take place no later than 12 months after the quarantine ban is lifted.
If the event date is changed, the service provider is not entitled to charge the user any additional fees.
Offer coupons
If the user does not agree with the later date of the event, the service provider must be notified of such decision within 60 days at the latest.
The service provider must provide the consumer with a coupon, the value of which cannot be less than the amount of money paid for the ticket, within a maximum of 30 days.
With the coupon, the user can pay all or part of the ticket price for future events organized by the same service provider.
If the coupon is not used within 12 months, the consumer is entitled to recover the value of the coupon in cash within 14 days after the coupon expiration date.
If the service provider does not provide the consumer with a coupon, the amount paid for the ticket must be refunded to the consumer within 14 days from the subsequent date of the event.
If no later date is set for the event, the service provider must return the money paid for the ticket no later than 14 days plus 30 days after the quarantine ban at events and meetings.
The provisions of this law apply to contracts for the organization of events, which were concluded before March 15 of this year and when the event would take place during the quarantine prohibition period or three months after the lifting of the quarantine ban.
R. Karablikov assured that the organizer of the event is ready to offer alternatives to customers: newly introduced coupons.
“But we are also preparing for a ticket refund procedure, which should start on June 1. The customer can always reject the alternative and is entitled to request a refund, which happens fairly quickly. We cannot do the opposite. Our customers going to one, the second and “The third concert supports our events, so it is important that we remain loyal. It is also related to our business focus. We could hardly live long if it were different, “Karablikov said.
Follow the market
The company representative explained that all customers will be offered to exchange tickets for another artist’s concert organized by Live Nation Lietuva.
“If the customer refuses, they will be paid the ticket amount. We know that many event organizers are trying to get rid of the responsibility, but this is wrong, so we value customers and their attitude is important to us,” Karablikov said.
A. Karablikov, a fan of the group “Whitesnake”, had a poor understanding of the group’s new performances.
“Until now, even the organizers of world tours do not mention the possible performances of this group. It has been officially announced that they have canceled all tours this year due to possible health threats. Therefore, in 2020 it is not worth the worth waiting for a world tour. ” Because it is not easy to move around a thousand world tours, it is a huge job, “explained Karablikov.
However, the Lithuanians are monitoring the activities of Whitesnake group agents.
“We know what is happening in neighboring countries, but there is no information about the band’s concerts. Many tours have been canceled. On June 29, the KISS band had to perform at the Žalgiris Arena, where almost all the shows sold out. tickets”. We are still explaining if we can agree on a concert date next year. Reconciliations are still ongoing. But it seems that big events will still be banned in the summer unless the government decides otherwise, so this concert is unlikely to take place. “We have no choice, tickets are sold and events will not take place,” said Karablikov.
