Biden talks about China: “they will eat our lunch”

During a meeting with senators, US President Joe Biden emphasized the need to increase investment in US infrastructure and highlighted the need for the country to further strengthen its position by accepting Chinese commitments.

President Xi, meanwhile, stressed that the issues related to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Xinjiang are China’s internal affairs related to China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Chinese president, according to the statement from the Foreign Ministry, called on Biden to reestablish various dialogue mechanisms, to understand the political intentions of both parties and to avoid misunderstandings and misjudgments.
