As established in the Government Resolution, during the quarantine the intensity of travel on regular long-distance and suburban passenger transport routes will be limited, people are obliged to be in groups of no more than 5 people, except members of the family. People over 6 years of age should wear protective gear that covers their nose and mouth in closed public spaces and on public transportation.
In the municipalities where the quarantine will be implemented, work will be organized in state and municipal institutions, establishments, state and municipal companies, and clients will be served remotely or partially remotely.
The flow of buyers and other visitors in the places of provision of services and commerce will be limited: at least 10 square meters will be guaranteed per buyer or recipient of the service.
Visits to patients in personal health care facilities will be prohibited, except visits to terminal patients, patients under 14 years of age and mothers. Visiting residents of all inpatient social service institutions, families, group and community living homes is prohibited. It is also recommended to restrict the activities of the day and employment centers for children, people with disabilities and the elderly.
Religious communities are advised not to perform religious rites.
“If we follow these recommendations, … the risk to our public life is certainly minimal. We just have to follow them,” Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis said at the government meeting.
The quarantine regime will begin on Monday and is scheduled to continue for two weeks, until November 6.
