Politicians Aušrinė Armonaitė, Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius and MEP Aušra Maldeikienė arrived in Kaunas from Vilnius.
Social media celebrities – photographer Naglis Bierancas and blogger Agnė Kulitaitė – were also visible in the peaceful protest action.

“We are everywhere” is the motto of the Kaunas Pride march, which is celebrated for the first time in the history of the city. The faces of the participants were covered with pink and rainbow colored masks.

It is noted that the protest was exceptionally peaceful. However, fearing possible provocations and even riots, Kaunas Pride participants were constantly guarded by a large force of officials. A total of 13 people were taken to the police.
