As soon as he returned from vacation, Veryga had already started solving problems: the records of the Records Center sounded strange.

The Minister, returning from work for a short vacation on Friday, says this opportunity will be discussed with the Head of the Records Center Saulius Urbanavičius and the Minister of Economy and Innovation Rimantas Sinkevičius.

“If there are physical problems with server storage, we can consider options for where those servers could be stored on our system. We have the State Health Insurance Fund and perhaps electronic health could move there. We will talk about all the possible alternatives so that similar things do not happen again in the future, ”he told LRT radio on Friday.

Veryga also assured that prior to the incident, no ministerial assistance had been requested from the ministry for the system, and that all other “previously expressed needs related to e-health had been met.”

“Strangely I was told that some kind of backup capacity had been requested from the Registry Center; I don’t recall such requests if we talked generally about the backup reservation or something,” he said.

Last week, after the rain in Vilnius, the server of the Registration Center was filled with a pipe. As a result, many of the company’s systems were disrupted. The electronic health system did not work for just over a week, it was restored on Tuesday afternoon.
