In response to the growing number of cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the country and to guarantee the safety of people against the spread of the infection, the Ministry of Health (SAM) has developed the obligation to wear masks in places shopping, leisure and entertainment.

This is stipulated in the decision signed by the Minister of Health, the head of state-level operations, signed on Thursday. The decision will take effect from 2020. August 1

The decision requires that staff serving visitors wear protective equipment covering the nose and mouth (face masks, respirators, or other means) in the closed facilities of the public catering establishment.

The decision also requires merchants and service providers and visitors, buyers, recipients, consumers over 6 years of age to wear nasal and oral protective equipment: masks, respirators or other measures.

Shopping, leisure and entertainment establishments must now also restrict the flow of customers and recipients: ensure that customers and recipients maintain a safe distance of at least 1 meter from each other in queues.

Exceptions apply to services that cannot be provided while wearing a mask, such as shaving your beard, during cosmetology, and beauty treatments. For athletes in sports clubs and visiting amusement and leisure parks where the service of wearing a mask is not possible, such as swimming pools, wearing a mask is also optional.
