To create a life of being together, the black and the world almost went together. A year ago, after the death of Nelly Paltiniene on February 29, the life of her husband, director of music, choir and orchestra, the teacher Arvydas Paltinas, passed away on February 1 of this year. And on Tuesday, March 16, a sensitive farewell took place.
Due to complications caused by pneumonia, A. Paltinas left at the age of 87. A few weeks later, the remains of a man living in Germany were brought to Lithuania, which was confirmed by a close friend of the deceased, the priest Kęstutis Timofejavas. It has been for many years that he has been in close contact with the couple, taking care of social networks and informing them about his state of health.

“He was overcome very quickly by pneumonia and septic shock. It seemed to still work, but unfortunately. Still, we are happy that he has been happy and cared for until the last moment of his life,” said the friend of Arvydas, adding: “His life was full until the last second. “

It is true, although everyone who wanted to say goodbye to A. Paltin was able to say goodbye on Tuesday, some family and friends already had that opportunity on Monday. Family friends Liveta and Petras Kazlauskas also arrived that day. In the video they recorded, there is a song performed by a priest.
He thanked the music for everything
“We were united by the music,” he admitted in black. And N. Paltinienė began to sing in 1951. In the amateur artistic ensemble of the Union of Communication Workers of the City of Klaipėda.
1960 moved to sing the orchestra of the Klaipeda City House of Culture. A year later, Nelly joined an ensemble led by Arvydas Paltinas, who later called himself “Voices of the Dunes.”
It goes without saying that the couple, who have been together for over 60 years, have become a symbol of true love. And the death of the most precious man in the world was really hard to bear. It was to feel the whole environment of Arvydas: the man could not come to terms with the person closest to him.
“She used to say, ‘I dream of Nothing at night, I wake up calling her by name.’ It seems that it has been eternal love, ‘”lamented the priest.
Arvydas’ guardian, who cared for him in the last days of his life, also commented on the exceptional connection of his loved ones, which does not fade even in the face of death. The woman told the friends of the deceased that the musician lived memories with Nele, they gave him great joy.
“Every day he would sit at his desk, leafing through old photos. Of course, both for the book, and for remembering that exceptional love. Irena Arvydas recounted her life, friendship, love with Nele … They were incredible people, their incredible connection ”, – Arvydas’s friend was surprised.
However, both Nelė and Arvydas left an eternal imprint not only on each other, but also on the environment around them.
“It just came to our attention then wasbut they will surely remain in our hearts and in our prayers. We must thank the destiny and relatives of Arvydas and Nelė for allowing us to meet them in our lives. It would seem that even blood relatives sometimes do not become as close as the people with whom destiny and life unite ”, K. Petravičius did not hide.
Always speaking to the media or transmitting her thoughts through acquaintances, N. Paltinienė emphasized the infinite gratitude towards the listeners and towards God for loving her and not forgetting her.
“Because it is very important for a person to love and be loved,” said the priest, quoting Nelly. – He sang about it, talked about it and came out with that love and that joy in the heart that is loved. I really thank all the Lithuanian people here for showing him that love. “
