Asta Riukienė, who worked as Senior Advisor in the Management Audit Department of the State Audit Office, became Advisor to the Minister.
He will be responsible for the development and coordination of the health system and information resources, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
“I am determined to contribute my knowledge to the team of the Minister of Health and I believe that my experience in the management of state information resources and the supervision of public funds will contribute to the performance of the tasks entrusted to me,” said A. Riukienė in the report.
He worked in the State Audit Office for about a decade.
A. Riukienė graduated from the Vilnius University Faculty of Economics and has a master’s degree in accounting and auditing.
In 2015-2020, A. Dulkys headed the State Audit Office.
As Minister of Health, his political trust team at this oversight institution already includes Deputy Minister Živilė Simonaitytė, Chancellor of the Ministry Jurgita Grebenkovienė, Spokesperson Aistė Šuksta, Legal Adviser on Prevention of Corruption and Public Procurement Eglė Butkevičienė.
