The wooden part of the cognitive path of the Dubrava reserve area is located on a high marsh, covered with slender birch and pine trees, and covered with moss. The cognitive trail in the Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park leads into the forest and continues.

It is interesting that in the area there are naturally boiled dryers, you will see even 150 meters foot. ancient forest, and when you look up you will see pine trees up to 38m high.

Of course, there is a high probability of encountering wild animals here, and small snakes have emerged in the path of the wooden swamp as the sun warms up. Don’t be surprised to see rare Lithuanian animals on the Dubrava nature trail: sea eagles, sparrows, sleeping owls. The trail stretches for 1.9 km.

The Žiegždriai Geological Trail in the Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park lasts almost 1.6 km. Walking in the distance, you will see the Vieškūnai mound, Palemon, the Pažaislis monastery. Take the thickest July in a century (4.3 m thick) that grows in the vicinity of the Kaunas lagoon. The biggest impression on the way is left by the outcrop of the Kalniškės conglomerates formed by the ice age. Its length is 400 m, the height is 22 m.

The pine forest that grows in Aukštoji Panemunė is surrounded by loops of Nemunas. The most impressive part of the trail is in the foothills of the Nemunas, where oak, fir and century-old pine trees grow. You will discover even small swamps. In Šilė you can find deer, hares, squirrels, foxes, martens, jinn, thrushes and other locals.

Walking along the main path, you will pass an object of exceptional natural heritage: oak and pine with adult trunks. While enjoying the heat, breathe fresh air, pay attention to the names of the trails, these are the names of the beasts and birds of the forest.

Here you will find: Gegučiai, Žuvėdrų, Undiniai, Lakštingalai, Gandrų alley, Lapiai, Stirnai, Elkė, Vilkai. In the Nemunas you will see a swarm of swallows, ducks, cormorants and other water lovers. The Pedestrian Bridge of the Three Virgins leads to the Panemunė Forest.

The almost 2 km long Pažaislis educational trail dates back to the 17th century. The ensemble of the Baroque-style Pažaislis Monastery, founded in the 19th century, is made up of the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint. Convent of the Sisters of Casimiro.

The trail winds along the banks of the Kaunas Lagoon and through the Pažaislis Forest: from the monastery to the Kaunas Yacht Club, where yachts, boats and boats rest on the shore. Walking along the path you will see the oak of the Mountain of Peace, almost 600 years old, 5.15 m thick and 21 meters high. It grows 100 meters from the fence of the Pažaislis monastery.

The almost 3 km long trail begins at Pakalniškės Mound and on the shore of Kaunas Lagoon leads to Pakalniškės Bay. The trail is exceptional because it has many branches, trail tracks. You can also go to the coast.

On the track you will find educational tasks that you will be happy to solve. In the forest, try to make out what it sings: thrushes, llamas, nine voices, volungus, boobs, and maybe shoulder blades. As you descend towards the Kaunas lagoon, you will see an elastic slope, where you will find sedimentary rocks of tuff.

Another curiosity of nature, try to find Sufi circuses on the Pakalniškės cognitive path: it is a structure similar to a landscape. You will see this formation on the coast with a good look at the small ravines with circular and steep banks.

The almost 2 km long trail installed in the Jiesia State Landscape Reserve opens the landscape of the Jiesia Valley with outcrops and erosive slopes, the Jiesia River. Interestingly, there are more than 20 outcrops in the Jiesia Reserve, and in some places their height reaches 40 meters.

As you walk along the path, be sure to find the so-called Romeo and Juliet balcony, made up of logs and roots. Another feature is that the only species of singing cicadas in Lithuania is found near Jiesia.

In the town of Kulautuva, you can choose from six circular routes ranging from 2.6 to 6 km long. On the educational trail you will see the Valley of the Gods and Goddesses, where there are oak sculptures of pagan gods: Thunder, Patrimp, Pykuolis, March, Continent, Gabija, Laima and others. You will see pine forests, the arch of Nemunas, on the shore of the quarry – the beach, there is also a water park.

In the Kačerginė complex you will find 2.6-5.5 km long trails that lead through the viewing platforms of the Kačerginė silo, from where the Nemunas opens. You will drive to the Pypliai mound. Along the way, you will pass through a series of springs, which can be refreshed with healing water, and it is also advisable to wash your face and eyes. This water is also used by the Kačerginė sanatorium.
