Following the announcement of the quarantine for the second time in Lithuania, the situation in Alytus County is also very complicated. Since the beginning of the quarantine, the number of patients has been on the rise and officials at the Alytus County Police Chief Commissioner are receiving increasing reports of non-compliance with requirements related to COVID-19. During this period, more than 40 such reports were received. However, we can be glad that the residents of Alytus County are becoming more and more conscientious and no administrative liability has been applied to anyone thus far.

Due to non-compliance with self-isolation and removal from the medical institution following positive COVID-19 test, two clarifications of circumstances were initiated in the county-supervised area due to impending criminal liability.

The Alytus County Police remember that everyone must comply with the established requirements and protect themselves and those around them. The requirements are the same for everyone, so non-compliance can draw the attention of police officers. Police are reminded of impending responsibility.

The quarantine was announced in Lithuania since November 7. 00 hrs. until November 29. 24 hours

Natural persons face administrative liability for failure to comply with the mandatory requirements and may be fined between € 500 and € 1500 for:
