Death case – in Klaipeda

Megelinskienė.
Another case is a close relative of a Danish import case that was announced last week. He works at one of the Vilnius educational institutions, but was not there. Among the cases detected on Saturday is an employee of the Vilnius Republican University Hospital. This is the second case of coronavirus in this hospital.
“5 new cases were reported on Sunday. 4 of them in Vilnius county and 1 in Telšiai county are also imported cases from Sweden. The person returned to Lithuania by ferry on June 8, the case was clarified during the examination preventively, the person did not feel any typical symptoms, “said G. Megelinskienė.
Another case found on Sunday relates to a personal vacation in the village of Kalveliai. 2 cases are related to the focus in the Santara clinics.
As Minister Aurelius Veryga said at a press conference, the criteria for revoking the quarantine are still being monitored and evaluated every Monday.
4 indicators are monitored
“There are 4 observable indicators. One of them is the total morbidity rate per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 2 weeks. He is currently 3.5 years old, on May 22 he was 5.9. It remains more or less the same, unchanged. Another criterion is that at least 90%. cases identified within a week would be associated with localized and managed outbreaks. According to the latest data, we have almost 83 percent. That figure has continued to deteriorate since late May. Another indicator is how many positive cases are detected out of every 100 analyzed, that is, 0.20. It was 0.11 last week. And when the criteria were started, the monitoring was 0.22. This remains within the norm for the time being. We also had 8 import cases. So far, the same 2 criteria are still worse than on May 22, but overall the situation is more or less stable and without significant deterioration, “said Minister A. Veryga.

According to A. Veryga, municipalities with a higher incidence than the Lithuanian average of more than 3.5 continue to be monitored. These municipalities are currently: Širvintos, Ignalina, Vilnius district, Jonava, Klaipėda district, Vilnius city, Skuodas, Ukmergė, Elektrėnai and Šakiai.
