“We already have over a million Opportunity Passport users!
And today in government, we will consider how to encourage the issuance of Opportunity passports on paper. This is important for people who do not have online banking services and cannot download this document on their phone, ”wrote the Minister of Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė on Facebook.

The Minister welcomed the willingness of companies and institutions to help people at this important time.

“The Registration Center is finalizing negotiations with pharmacies, Lietuvos Paštas and the company that manages Perlo terminals to join the process of issuing Opportunity Passports on paper. With the appearance of several thousand new points, we will significantly accelerate the September 13, when the Passport of Opportunities will be needed most often, ”said A. Armonaitė.

According to the Minister, decisions of the Ministry of Health are still needed to facilitate the issuance of passports.

“It is important that companies that come to the aid of the state are not overwhelmed by additional bureaucratic burdens and that the printing of opportunity passports is guaranteed free of charge. I hope that colleagues will concentrate and that today we can make the necessary decisions”, wrote A. Armonaitė.

The Minister herself said that the Opportunity Passport had been requested more than once.

“I am glad that the system created in the spring is working properly. Tonight, my colleagues and I plan to visit various cafes and bars in the capital to hear more impressions from their employees and customers,” said A. Armonaitė.
