Yes, there are some risks, but in general we are talking about spring or summer and we do not know what the situation will be then (…). There may be other solutions, but so far we must not go very far. “

The Government has decided in the area of ​​organization and execution of educational activities:

• attending preschool and preschool educational institutions is recommended only for those children whose parents (adoptive parents, guardians) do not have the opportunity to work remotely;
• education in schools according to the basic and secondary education programs is carried out only at a distance, except for pupils educated in special schools and special classes of general education schools according to the basic education programs (basic education individualized), secondary education (development of social skills);
• children’s non-formal education is carried out at a distance or stopped;
• non-formal adult education and non-formal vocational training are delivered remotely or suspended, with the exception of practical training in aviation, navigation and driving;
• Vocational training, other than initial vocational training combined with a social skills program, and higher education will be provided remotely, ensuring conditions for personal protective equipment;
• Educational assistance will be provided ensuring traffic management conditions, safe distance and other conditions necessary for public health, safety, hygiene, provision of people with the necessary personal protective equipment established by the Emergency Operations Manual at the state level, in the same way as activities in educational institutions and other educational providers; or provided remotely;

We remind you that on Monday the Government decided to reinforce the quarantine imposed throughout the country. Following the COVID-19 Steering Committee meeting, a Government meeting was held to decide on the introduction of new restrictions. All changes should go into effect on December 9.

Acting Health Minister Aurelius Veryga said the situation was not improving

“Since the epidemiological situation is not improving, we continue to monitor the spread of infections, which should be seen as measures that are no longer sufficient to reduce the spread,” Acting Health Minister A. Veryga said at the government meeting.

Due to the quarantine, it is recommended to restrict movement for unnecessary reasons: leaving the place of residence only on the way to work, a place of commerce, for medical care and other services. Close contact between more than two families and / or households will be prohibited, except in urgent cases that require assistance, care for the sick or unable to care for themselves.

The quarantine runs until December 31, 24 hours.
