Vilija Matačiūnaitė, who became famous on the Star Trek 15 years ago, spent the past two years isolating herself from the world of entertainment and Lithuania. “I thought that looking at my year in the passport, that train was already gone,” laughs the artist.
In 2018 Vilija fled to Cyprus after starting her legal studies and living in Lithuania. As she tells herself, she had too much of everything here, so she had to distance herself and turn to herself: “I got burned and realized that I didn’t want to live for others who didn’t even appreciate my efforts.”
In the past few months in Cyprus, Vilija had already established a full life, and her sister even planned to open her own business. However, the idea of acting studios shuffled all the cards: Vilija abandoned his plans and returned to Lithuania.
“My sister and I had done a lot for the business: we bought a franchise, we received training.” And I left. The sister was very angry. I am a traitor to the family, ”admits Vilija.
