According to a former colleague, Petras Dimša lost the fight against cancer. According to A.Žvinakevičius, the actor had a serious illness for several years.
“For the moment, communication had stopped because he was very ill. What is this disease? Yes, cancer, but I would not like to go into more detail. ” 15 minutes stated A.Žvinakevičius.

A.Žvinakevičius learned of the actor’s death from relatives. It is not yet known exactly when the actor left this world.
It is announced that it will be possible to dismiss Fr. Dimša on Thursday and a funeral will be held the following day. More detailed information will be made public.

P. Dimša had also published several books of poetry.
