A woman with coronavirus was walking through Radviliškis: the police launched an investigation

As the woman had to adhere to self-isolation, the police launched a pre-trial investigation for the violation of the rules to combat epidemics of article 277 of the Penal Code.

The Penal Code provides for a fine or restriction of freedom, or arrest or imprisonment of up to one year for this.

In recent weeks, the coronavirus has been causing serious problems in Radviliškis. The city hospital became the focus of COVID-19, halting the admission and hospitalization of new patients. All scheduled surgeries, consultations and other services provided to admitted patients have also been suspended.
