“It seems that the new ruling majority of us don’t really want to hear anything,” Veryga said.
“I have publicly made such a proposal to be able to present a person who will be named or it is clear that he will be appointed … to him, to explain it, to a certain topic. This was called by the future prime minister an attempt to evade responsibility. So we will not offer under duress. Apparently, people feel like they know they seem to have a good plan or even better than ours. But we’ll see, ”the minister continued, recalling at the same time how difficult it was for him to hold the post of Health Minister.
“As I recall, it was difficult for me to get to the position of Minister and not be on COVID-19. This is a really difficult area and it takes a good half year to understand and dig into everything to put together a team. When you have to do that in a COVID-19 situation, it will be very difficult, ”Veryga said.
