A.Veryga told LRT television that so far there was no plan to investigate heads of state more frequently for coronavirus.

“But I think it will be thought about after this event,” the Health Minister told LRT television.

When asked if there is an algorithm on what to do if heads of state contract the coronavirus, A.Veryga explained that there is no special algorithm.

“Of course, if a person becomes ill in such a way that he cannot fulfill his functions, it is simply a question of who is in charge of any public official, whatever it may be. The entire legal system exists,” said the Minister of Health. to LRT television.

According to A.Veryga, the case of the event in Kryžkalnis will be evaluated by epidemiologists and they will tell you how high the risk is.

“In this case, we are probably not talking about illness, but about isolation. An isolated person would be in a better condition to carry out his functions,” he said.
