After 12 p.m. The mass urn in the Bernardine Church with the remains of the prima donna was brought out of the church with loud applause. A sensitive moment filled with tears not only for the relatives, but also for other mourners who paid tribute to the deceased and her family.

The car carrying the urn and a large crowd moved through the streets of Vilnius. Participants went to the Antakalnis cemetery to say the last “goodbye”.

At the artist’s grave, the artist’s relatives shared heartbreaking memories. Probably the most sensitive and stimulating moment on the Artist’s Hill was when E. Kučinskas once again asked everyone to applaud the prima donna and sang the well-known song “For Those Who …”.

Other famous people, such as Liveta and Petras Kazlauskai, Vytenis Pauliukaitis, Vidas Mačiulis, Viktoras Malinauskas, Judita Leitaitė and others, were able to meet at the funeral.

Delphi Remember that although Ms Paltinienė died in Germany on February 29, the people who met her soloist were only able to say goodbye a few months later, in June. This was due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country and in other parts of the world, during which the quarantine was announced.

Not only Nelly’s husband Arvydas was able to come to Lithuania for a long time, but also the singer’s remains. Fortunately, after the quarantine decreased, the urn with the ash of a woman from Germany successfully arrived in Lithuania in May. The deceased’s spouse soon arrived in Vilnius.
