The Vilnius municipality confirmed to BNS by email that it had received information about the planned action rally “Against the forced use of masks in schools and other educational institutions”, in which up to 15 people intend to participate. However, there were not many participants in the campaign.

The protesters also speak out against the development of 5G connectivity and other things.
“We will see if the permits have been obtained, if the event is legal or not. If the permit is available, we will ensure public order. Generally, our actions are such that filming the event, then making decisions. It is two years to make. decisions, so that we can analyze the situation and make decisions, “he said.
According to R. Matonis, if the mask is requested during the event, the responsibility will probably apply to the organizers of the campaign.
“If the organizer urges everyone to do so, I think the organizer will have to respond. We take a negative opinion of all calls for non-compliance with laws and regulations. We observe those people (…), their activities are evaluated with a magnifying glass, ”said R. Matonis.
The messages were intended for the fox, to which several thousand people responded. They promised to choose in Vilnius, in the Cathedral Square and walk to the Seimas and remove their masks there. You are invited to protest not only against masks, but also against the 5G connection, etc. Residents of other cities are also urging protest.
The outgoing Minister of Health, Aurelijus Veryga, says that it is not possible to prohibit citizens from expressing their opinion, but compliance is mandatory and recalled that even criminal responsibility for non-compliance with the rules can lead to criminal responsibility.
“For those who do not keep their distance or wear masks, I hope that the police officers actively supervise those participants and impose fines. If it is very serious, these people may in part in some cases be responsible for the spread of the virus, they can also be responsible for certain deaths. Laughing, I will say that we will build a 5G tower in those places and I hope no one chooses, “he said at a press conference on Friday.
The second quarantine was introduced in Lithuania on November 7 and is currently scheduled for November 29. During it, masks are mandatory in public places, activities in cafes, bars and entertainment venues are prohibited, almost all events, except high-level sports competitions without spectators, are subject to other restrictions.
