On Sunday, the FIFA Futsal World Championship began in Lithuania, where 24 teams divided into 6 groups will meet for the title of winners in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipeda.

In the first match of the championship, the Lithuanian team after a very persistent fight and missed a goal in the last minutes of the match 1: 2 (1: 1) landed for the Venezuelan team.

Venezuela was able to get up in minute 3 when Carlosas Sanzas missed his shot after a cross from the right. However, already in the 7th minute, the Lithuanians managed to equalize the result in a quick attack, when Justinas Zagurskas scored after a pass from David Reimaris.

The tying goal seemed certain in the 38th minute when Venezuela attacked down the left wing, but Alfredo Vidalis barely managed to stop the ball out of the net.

For both teams, it was their World Cup debut.
