President Gitan Nausda has appointed members of the 11th government. Almost half of the cabinet members are women.

The Head of State will sign a decree on the composition of the Cabinet of Ministers on Monday afternoon to meet with the designated prime minister, Ingrida.
According to the ruling coalition agreement, the National Union and the Lithuanian Christian Democrats hold the positions of prime minister and nine ministers in finance, health, social security and labor, energy, education, science and sports, home affairs, search security and foreign affairs. The Freedom Party has three portfolios of ministers of Economy and Innovation, Communications and Justice. The Liberal Seat has two ministerial posts on environment and culture.

Mr. Nausda said that all the ministries were important to him, but that areas such as education, culture, economic prosperity and social justice were also separated.

These are things that will be important for the future of Lithuania for many years to come, the president said.

The candidates were nominated by I. imonyt for president on November 18, and the Head of State began meeting with them on November 25, the day after the Seimas voted to appoint I. imonyts as prime minister.
Last week, after meeting with all the candidates, Mr. Nausda announced that the prime minister-designate had asked him to nominate new candidates for transport and agriculture.
