A few weeks ago, there was a series of scandals involving vaccinated people in a row who were not yet vaccinated with COVID-19 at the time.

Then there was talk of the vaccinated teachers from the Žalgiris Clinic, who were not working there at the time. These cases also occurred in Šilalė, where the vaccine was administered to the head of a private ambulance station and his family members, the former director of the hospital.

Minister A. Dulkys affirms that currently specialists from the Ministry of Health are examining the issue together with lawyers.

“It seems that we have a situation where each patient has to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine from the same registered manufacturer according to the schedule that is included in the approved vaccine profile at the time of registration. Therefore, vaccination will be carried out, but I would like to point out that there is also liability for infractions of the law.

In cases where it is confirmed after investigations that the queue has been violated, it will be considered under the Code of Administrative Offenses and in view of the violation of the Law on Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases of the Republic of Lithuania that it is done during quarantine and emergency. The fine for these people is 500 to 1,500 euros, and for legal persons, 1,500 to 6,000 euros, ”said the Minister.

This can lead to a fine of between € 500 and € 1,500 for these persons and of € 1,500 and € 6,000 for legal persons.

According to A. Dulkis, if the vaccination is proven to be in violation of the law, then it will be the second vaccine, but it can be very expensive.
