“My work is related to abroad, I work there and when I return to Lithuania I have to quarantine myself. Last year, during the first quarantine, we had to stay at work abroad for a month, then we got permits to return. My schedule is such that I go out every 12 days. When I returned to Lithuania last spring, I registered on the hotline in 1808 and they told me when to go for the test. I drove, I did that test, the next day I got a message that my test was negative.

Now I’m back from work again, the same situation, I need to quarantine myself, do a test. I drove on Tuesday, took a PCR test and waited for the knowledge. I also asked the employees how long it would take to wait for an answer, they said it would be one day, ”said Jaroslav.

On Wednesday, the man was already awaiting knowledge of the test results, but when he received the message, he was shocked. It turned out that they did not report a negative or positive answer, but only reported that the study data was published on the eHealth system or could be obtained from a family doctor.

“I am isolated in an empty apartment and I did not carry any access code to electronic banking, I did not think it was necessary. I called the 1808 line again, there they told me that I could not provide that information, I needed to see a GP or through e-health.

Since I don’t have an electronic health connection, I call my outpatient clinic. At the reception he could not help me, he referred my doctor. I called several times, finally the nurse answered and said the doctor was busy and could only help tomorrow. Absurd, “Yaroslav annoyed.

He said that if he received a negative answer, he could break the isolation and, as he says, enjoy freedom, but now he is forced to wait. The man did not hide that he could not understand why the order had changed and he was no longer sending responses via text messages.
