The passenger reportedly underwent a pre-flight coronavirus test and tested positive, but the unidentified person has yet decided not to delay his trip.
The passenger, along with a friend, was disembarked from the plane and transferred to a special room at the airport, which is isolated from other travelers. There they met with health professionals. It is not announced whether the passengers were fined for continuing to choose to fly and pose a threat not only to other passengers but also to the crew.
After disembarking the passengers, the plane was completely disinfected and, with a delay of approximately one hour and forty minutes, it took off for Italy.
“These passengers wore protective masks at London Stansted Airport and, after boarding the plane, they spent about ten minutes in it before disembarking. The risk of transmitting the coronavirus to other passengers or the flight crew in such a short time remained minimal. They were also all wearing protective masks, ”read a Ryanair press release.
One of the passengers on the plane filmed part of the incident and shared the recording on social media.
