A.Armonaitė stated on Facebook that he had submitted these proposals to the Ministry of Health, which is preparing a plan for the release of quarantine restrictions.

The plan was discussed on Monday, with a week given to ministerial proposals, but the minister said the economy ministry already had some proposals.

“First of all, let the outdoor ski resorts work. There are six such resorts in Lithuania. The main requirements would be: services are provided by reservation only, number of clients is limited, ski equipment is not rented. skiing, to ensure regular disinfection of the ski lifts; safe distances between skiers, “wrote A.Armonaitė.

According to her, the relaxation of the quarantine should allow the operation of beauty services (haircuts and manicures) when there is a client and a service provider.

These services should have an area of at least 10 square meters.

A.Armonaitė also proposes to allow stores that have a direct entry from the field or a separate entrance, which is used only by the customers of that store.

The second quarantine introduced in Lithuania due to the spread of the coronavirus has been in place since November, but in mid-December it was severely reinforced by the current government.

The quarantine was scheduled to last until the end of January, but the meeting of the Government Emergency Commission (WESC) on Monday proposed to extend it for at least another month.

The quarantine should be extended without lifting the current restrictions, but these releases will be considered every two weeks in response to statistics on the spread of the virus, Health Minister Arūnas Dulkys announced.

“The service sector can be liberalized if there are less than 150 cases, trade if it has a separate entry, if there are less than 200 cases. This week, according to experts, we still cannot offer such things,” the minister said. considering that the first layoffs may be available in February.
