The party led by A. Armonaitė won eight seats in the first round of the Seimas elections, and twelve more candidates from the Freedom Party compete in single-member districts in the second round of the Seimas elections.

“Out of the 35 individual members, we have up to 12 rounds of a second. This is a very good result, naturally you want to win as much as possible,” A. Armonaitė commented to journalists in Lukiškės square, adding that the match does not have the goal of winning a specified number of seats.

The politician did not want to talk about what will be negotiated if there is an opportunity to participate in the formation of a coalition of right-wing forces.

The elections are still ongoing and no negotiations are taking place.

“There are still elections and no negotiations. Let those elections end. The party that wins the elections is likely to be a center-right political force, it will have the initiative, and when that initiative is shown, then we would consider talking about a coalition.

We are not imposing any conditions now, elections are taking place. And after the elections, let’s hope there will be negotiations, we will finally change the government that governs Lithuania through fear and division ”, waited A. Armonaitė.

The current government, saying the Freedom Party will legalize drugs and legalize same-sex marriages, is promoting the party, its leader said.

“They advertise us, although I am very sorry that it scares people. Scare and break. Lithuania did not deserve it ”, assured the electoral participant.

It is true that he did not rule out the possibility that after the elections a real left-wing coalition: “Everything is real, because there are still elections. That is why it is important that people come and choose the changes so that in Lithuania we can do more in education, human rights and the economy ”.

A.Armonaitė stated that he had voted in the Justiniškės-Viršuliškės district of the capital, where the conservative Seimas member Paulius Saudargas and the representative of the Freedom Party Brigita Guobė compete. A. Armonaitė declared that he had voted in favor of the latter.

The politician himself is running for the second round of the Seimas elections in the Lithuanian world constituency. Her rival is the conservative Dalia Asanavičiūtė. A.Armonaitė stated that he had not received support from other candidates who participated in the first round here.

“Nobody expressed such support. The most important thing, apparently, is that the people come together, vote with courage,” he said.

Transmission from Lukiškės square:

Preliminary voting has already started in the second round of the Seimas elections. Election day is Sunday. During it, we will delegate another 68 representatives of the nation to Parliament.
