The famous Lithuanian weightlifter Haroldas Šulcas died of a coronavirus infection. He was only 37 years old.

The Lithuanian Power Triathlon Federation announced it on their Facebook account.

“With deep sympathy, we would like to announce that we have lost Lithuanian barbell pressure champion, record holder and multiple Lithuanian champion Harold Šulc. On behalf of the Lithuanian Power Triathlon Federation, we would like to wish our family strength and peace. Harold made a great contribution to this sport and to life! ”, It reads in the account of the Lithuanian Power Triathlon Federation.

H. Šulcas was the master of the Lithuanian barbell pressure sport, a multiple Lithuanian rope pull champion.

The athlete is said to have had no health problems.

“He would be among us, we would have loved with his results and the children would be the father, and the wife a husband and everything. I find it difficult to speak. The father of the family and everything had no problems. More because in sports, if you have a problem and don’t pull the rope with suffocation, ”H. Šulco coach Antanas Gricius told the TV3.lt portal.

H. Schulz had three children. The weightlifter was buried in Kuršėnai.
