Uzbeks are isolated in a building near the Children’s Rehabilitation Corps. Parents are outraged that the hospital administration did not report. However, the Health Ministry says there is no reason to fear, reports the television program Lietuvos rytas Reporteris.

In the courtyard of the Abromiškės Rehabilitation Hospital, children who come here for treatment play a free minute. There are currently about 70 of these.

In the same hospital, near the bodies of children, Uzbeks infected with coronaviruses were isolated and came to work as long-distance drivers at a company in Kaunas.

Parents who stay in the hospital with their children do not hide that they are not satisfied with the Uzbek neighborhood: “They are small, they will not tell you: do not go there. They can drive quickly with a bicycle or a scooter. ”

“I could have reported in advance.” “Would your plans have changed if you had gone somewhere else?” But he could have reported. “

“If I had known that information before, I certainly would not have driven for the child’s safety.”

The alarmed population also receives calls to the Ministry of Health.

Vitalijus Glamba, director of the Rehabilitation Hospital, assures that the Uzbeks infected with the coronavirus are isolated in a building that is not where the children are treated: “The institution has 2 addresses. The adult sections are completely separated, at a distance of approximately half a kilometer. And the children’s compartment has separate compartments. As I said, there are isolated people in separate buildings and in a separate fenced area that they don’t really get out of. ”

The Ministry of Health explains that not only Uzbeks are isolated in Abromiškės. Here, patients with a mild form of coronavirus are transported from across Lithuania, as the hospital was the first to express a desire to accept infected people.

About a couple of dozen Coronavirus-infected Uzbeks are currently isolated here. Coronavirus tests were performed on another 200 employees of the Kaunas company.
