That number was higher than the previous record in California.

The Florida State Department of Health reported that 15,299 new infections occurred in 47 percent. exceeded the result of the previous day.

The state also recorded a number of 45 deaths from COVID-19 per day.

In five days, 55,842 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Florida.

Previously, one-day infection registration was conducted in California, where 11,694 cases were reported on Wednesday, rather than in New York, where 11,571 cases were reported on April 14.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was one of the first to rush to ease quarantine measures since May 4, long before other state governors.

America’s top communicable disease specialist Anthony Fauci has taken an uncharacteristic step for him, saying Thursday that Florida has quit quarantine sooner than warranted by public health indicators.

DeSantis questioned this, saying his decision was based on the data available at the time.

In late June, the governor partially suspended the relaxation of quarantine measures and ordered the bars closed to prevent the spread of the disease, but the number of infections continued to increase.

Still, the Florida governor refused to require residents to wear face masks in public places, arguing that it is up to local authorities to decide.
