Badger’s specs are already beyond impressive, and this pickup stands out from the crowd.
The Badger will be powered by all four wheels, it will have 906 hp, it will be able to grab a load of 3,600 kg, it will have a 15 kilowatt power outlet to load various tools, and so on.
Furthermore, thanks to the available supercapacitor system, the Badger will instantly receive a large amount of energy and will reach a speed of 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds. Supercapacitors should also be used when the car is braking, this will save energy.
And of course the Badger will be able to travel 161 km further than the Cybertruck with a boost. And these are hydrogen fuel cells.
The Badger will have an 8 kg liquid hydrogen tank and a 160 kWh battery system. With the rechargeable batteries alone, the badger will travel 483 km.
However, the 120 kW hydrogen fuel cell system will provide additional power and add an additional 483 km for a total of 965 km.
It all sounds fantastic, but that’s not enough for Nikola Motor manager Trevor Milton. He announced that the company was seriously considering supplying the Barsuko-generated water to passengers driving the car.

You got it right. The badger will have a built-in tap.
Also, Milton wants to go further and is already talking to Soda Stream USA about the possibility of integrating a carbonated water machine into the badger.
Such thoughts sound very original, but is it really safe to drink such water?
Toyota doesn’t really recommend it. The byproduct of its hydrogen-powered Mirai is also just water, but the company cautions against drinking it.
Such water does not contain any of the minerals normally found in normal water. In other words, we have distilled water here.
Basically, it is not bad, but it will not quench your thirst and will not provide the body with any beneficial minerals. Even the opposite.
Research has long shown that such water absorbs minerals from any surface it touches. Therefore, if stored in a plastic container, a certain amount of substances harmful to the body will appear in the water, and after drinking it, these substances will enter the body.
And even if such water is kept in a glass container and a person drinks it, it will absorb minerals from the body. In any case, the body is damaged.
So is Nikola Motor CEO Trevor Milton really thinking about installing a faucet at Barsuke? Probably not, and such statements are just another way to promote your exclusive collection.
Interest in this pickup is already very high, but we haven’t seen the real Badger prototype yet. The company already accepts pre-pickup orders, and the refundable deposit is between $ 250 and $ 5,000. Barsuko’s starting price is expected to start at $ 60,000.
Nikola Motor previously said that it is already working with partners and that the Barsukas will be officially presented in September this year. the next Nikola World 2020 event. We are likely to hear about this exceptional gathering more than once soon.
