It is emphasized that it does not work in the specific laboratory where the coronavirus is being tested, and that infections have been detected during preventive tests.
The individuals interacted on June 30 and July 4, taking the elevator together. The first symptoms appeared on July 5.
NVSPL identified 17 high-risk individuals and 10 low-risk individuals. A person has been identified with 1 contact in a person’s family.
The case in Utena County was identified by doctors from the Radiology Department of Utena Hospital, who had not left Lithuania. The case was clarified after preventive examinations by employees.
The physician did not communicate with patients due to the nature of the work in this section. A total of 12 contact persons were identified, including 2 family members and 10 Utena Hospital staff members, of whom 6 had close contact. They were isolated and the epidemiological study continues.
A case of importation from Kazakhstan into Vilnius County was established for a person who returned from this country via Amsterdam to Vilnius airport on July 8. He spent two weeks in Kazakhstan and returned by taxi from the airport. Isolated immediately upon arrival.
Another case found in Marijampolė county is also related to a previous import case in which a coronavirus was diagnosed on July 2 in a person from Tajikistan. It was discovered that he had contact with five people, but a person diagnosed with coronavirus on Sunday was not identified by epidemiologists at the time for having had contact with the returnee.
