Lietuvos Geležinkeliai is changing the trademarks of all the companies in the group and the logo of the main company. Lietuvos Geležinkeliai’s name remains, but his new acronym is LTG. It is now the name of one and all the companies in the group.

The company dedicated to passenger transport will become LTG Link, freight transport will become LTG Cargo, and the infrastructure development company will be called from now on LTG Infra, announces the Lithuanian state railway.

“In recent years, the Lithuanian railways have undergone the greatest changes since regaining their independence. We have become an open, transparent and efficient group of companies that generate benefits for Lithuania. The structure of our group has also recently changed. They have established passenger, cargo and infrastructure companies, united by efficiency, responsibility, foresight and leadership. So, the reflection of internal changes abroad was also a natural step. It is also a commitment to implement even more ambitious changes in the future ” , says Mantas Bartuška, Director General of Lithuanian Railways, in a press release.

The most important accent of the new group logo is the arrow symbol, which represents movement and progress.

According to the report, the sign also symbolizes the LTG group’s mission to connect people and businesses. The colors of the group’s signs together create the tricolor of Lithuania, reflecting the commitment to create benefits for your country.

“One of the ambitious goals of our new century is to create benefits for Lithuania’s successful competition abroad. Therefore, when creating new brands, it was important to ensure that they were easy to understand and remember not only in Lithuania, but also in the world, “says M. Bartuška.

Chose the tricolor symbolism

The new name of the passenger transport company LTG Link has meanings in both Lithuanian (meaning direction) and English (meaning connection). The color of the sign is red.

The goal of the dynamic and energetic brand is to encourage residents who still avoid getting out of their own cars to choose an alternative, greener, and faster way to travel more frequently, announces Lithuanian Railways.

Today, we continue to be the nation with the fewest train journeys in Europe. However, it is encouraging that in recent years Lithuania has led the continent in terms of increasing train popularity. Therefore we are rapidly discovering railways “I am sure that by acting more and more modern, we will attract the majority of Lithuanians to try nice train trips,” says Linas Baužys, director of LTG Link.

Freight forwarding company LTG Cargo will stand out in the brand’s yellow color. It means activity, initiative, non-standard thinking.

The LTG Infra brand, which develops the infrastructure, will be highlighted in green. According to Lithuanian Railways, it symbolizes efficiency, reliability, respect for the environment and commercially attractive services.
