According to her, people returning from Sweden took the ferry to Latvia, Ventspils, and from there they drove to Lithuania: one to Klaipeda, the other to Anykščiai district.

“They returned to Lithuania on June 27 by car through the Lazdijai border checkpoint. One person has been in Ukraine since January 6, others have joined later. These are members of a team. The individuals have been prophylactically tested and have no symptoms. Four exposed individuals were identified. One of them is in Ukraine, “he said.

“It is probable that the person was infected outside the health institution because there are no more sick people in it. Without symptoms, the disease was detected during preventive examinations. Four workers with high risk of infection and six with low risk were identified of infection. They will be investigated, “said G. Megelinskienė.
“17 exposed patients were also identified. They are investigated, everyone’s responses are negative. The investigation will be repeated next week. During the incubation period, new patients will not be admitted to the room where these exposed people are located, “he added.
A case of coronavirus was reported after death in a person suspected of having been killed in the Vilnius district.
“There may be links to two previously announced homes, but the information is still being refined. Four people at the scene had high-risk contact with this person. One high-risk person and six low-risk people were identified from services in the scene. The risk of four people is still adjusting, “said an NVSC representative.
According to Thursday, the coronavirus was detected in a total of 1,825 people, 200 people are still sick, 1,536 have recovered and 66 people are isolated.
78 people died from COVID-19, and another 11 people infected with coronavirus died from other causes.
As of June 1, 33 import cases had been registered in Lithuania.
