The NVSC stated that five of the seven new cases of coronavirus are imported, a case was established for a murdered person in the Vilnius district. As of June 1, 33 import cases had been registered in Lithuania.
Eight people are currently being treated for coronavirus in the country’s hospitals, two of whom are in resuscitation and intensive care units.
Ginreta Megelinskienė, Head of the Infectious Disease Management Division of the Vilnius Department of the National Center for Public Health, informed BNS about it on Thursday.
“Of the eight people in the hospital, five are being treated with oxygen masks, and artificial lung ventilation is being used for two,” he said.

- To date, a total of samples have been analyzed for suspected coronaviruses: 432457 (including 126067 from mobile points)
