According to research data, the doctor may prescribe the optimal dose of vitamin D required by the body,” said Dr. L. Barauskienė. “Daily use of vitamin D supplements is more physiological. High single doses should only be given by a doctor who has assessed the person’s health. They are generally safe for healthy adults.
