The Ministry of Health (SAM) publishes a list of countries from which foreigners can enter Lithuania without any restriction as of June 29. It is true that those from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria and Luxembourg will be advised to isolate themselves, the press release said.

Due to the high incidence of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), Swedish and Portuguese citizens and legal residents will still not be able to enter our country.

SAM recalls that this procedure applies to foreigners from countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Northern Ireland. Foreigners from third countries can enter Lithuania only after obtaining permission from the responsible Lithuanian institutions, depending on the nature of the problem: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Security and Labor, etc.

The list of countries from which entry is granted is updated weekly, taking into account epidemiological indicators in foreign countries.

As before, Lithuanian citizens can come from any country. However, for returnees from countries on the affected list, i. and. those in which the incidence of coronavirus infection in the last 14 days is greater than 25 cases per 100,000. population, from June 29. 14 days of isolation is mandatory.
