The Board of Concern appointed K. Braziulis, the company’s former Director of Control and Internal Audit, to the position of Chief on Friday, the Achema Group announced.

In one of the largest business groups, in the past, managers often changed due to a conflict between a minority and a major shareholder.

He did not mention the reasons for G. Jakubauskas’ revocation.

K. Braziulis, 57, has a degree in law, economics and engineering, and has held management positions in public and private companies. He has been responsible for internal control and audit at Grupo Achema for the last three years.

Since 2011, when Bronislovas Lubys, the former main shareholder and CEO of the Achema Group, passed away, K. Braziulis was the tenth CEO of the company.

Arūnas Laurinavičius, Valdemaras Vareika, Romualdas Žadeika, Rimvydas Vaštakas, Kasparas Jurgelionis, Linas Sabaliauskas, Audrius Bendaravičius, Mindaugas Deksnys have led the Achema Group for a longer or shorter period of time.

The appointment of some of them was disputed in court, and K. Jurgelionis was the acting head of the Achema Group in June 2015 for just a few hours.

The Achema Group owns companies in Lithuania and abroad: in Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Germany, France and other countries. The group companies employ 4.6 thousand people. workers
