They can’t really understand that you came here for tourism, maybe you are a spy, or maybe from a security organization? “
In Afghanistan, Dan traveled with an escort, a local security guard, with whom he also traveled to the Taliban’s nest, the city of Kandahar, where Osama Bin Laden, the world’s most famous terrorist, was a frequent guest.
“Mohammed Omar, the founder of the Taliban, was born in this city. I even had the opportunity to visit a mosque where I had been studying since I was little. Osama Ban Laden approached him, they prayed together. I have never seen so many soldiers and so many forces as in this city, anywhere in the world. It took about two hours to drive a few kilometers, because he rides a snake: tanks, military cars, people with guns, constantly stopping him, checking with dogs. Shots day and night ”.

“One day it can cost thousands of euros. Why? Because you need special transportation, armed protection. Often you have to pay everyone. You want to enter the country – pay bribes, you want to get a visa – pay bribes. The poorer you are. the country, the more expensive the trip. The most expensive region for me was not the Caribbean, but Central Africa. There, the car can be rented for 1000 euros a day. Paid extra fuel, a liter for four euros, paid the driver services ”.
