Passport opportunities are offered for those without a passport – what would you change?

In the draft registered by the Ministry, the proposal is justified by the fact that pharmacies sell essential products and will be able to issue passports of opportunity, and fuel is considered a necessary product.

It is also proposed to provide an additional exception when catering can be provided by contact with people without a passport:

– the food is delivered to take it or deliver it to natural and legal persons by other means;

– Catering services are provided to employees of companies, establishments or organizations where shift work is carried out in the territories and / or premises of these companies, establishments or organizations;

– Catering services are provided in education, social services, personal health care, national defense, penal institutions, remand centers, the State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania at the Registration Center of Foreign.

Also in other establishments or their territories and / or premises, where it is necessary to ensure the provision of restaurant services by legal acts, and when public catering services are provided only to people who use the services of these establishments and / or their employees.

These proposals have not yet been approved by the Government.

In August, the Cabinet of Ministers decided that as of September 13. All contact services and economic activities are carried out and events are organized (except for the established exceptions) only for people who meet the criteria of the opportunity passport.

For activities subject to the passport requirement, the use of masks and compliance with distances is recommended. At that time, epidemiological security measures (use of masks, distance, flow management, etc.) are mandatory for activities that would be carried out without a passport.
