In July, Galio Group, a real estate development company with 11 employees, ranked third on the list of companies that pay the highest wages to women in Lithuania. In this company, the average pre-tax salary for women was 8,606 euros, but even twice that of men: 19,236 euros.
In fourth place is the digital agency Httpool Lithuania, where the average salary before taxes for women in July was 8009 euros, for men: 11,637 euros.
Next on the list is Yazaki’s Lietuva Cabling Technologies Plant, which employs 223 people. In this company, the average salary of women in July was almost double that of men: women earned an average of 7,900 euros before taxes, men – 3,158 euros.

Women also receive higher salaries than men at a Federal Express Corporation branch. In a company with 12 employees, the average salary for women is 7,725 euros and that of men 3,368 euros.
Ardita ir Ko, which exports powdered milk, is another small company with 14 employees, where women’s wages are among the highest in the country and one of the few companies where female employees earn more than their male counterparts. In July, the average salary in this company for women was 7,663 euros before taxes, and for men, 2,179 euros.
In July, Gverdita, a metal processing company with 75 employees, was included in the list of companies that pay the eighth highest salary for women in Lithuania. The average salary for women here was 7,068 euros before taxes, while that of men was 2,864 euros.
One of the highest salaries for women is also paid by the pharmaceutical company Abbvie (average salary for women – 6,978 euros, men – 8,627 euros), which is among the ten highest salaries in the country as a whole.
The top ten is completed by the mobile application platform “Dappradar”, where the average salary for women is 6700 euros, men – 5073 euros.
The twenty companies that have paid the highest salaries to women in the country also have more companies that paid women higher salaries than men: KIA auto, Orion Securities, Opusauto, Modus Group, Homedoc Technologies Baltic.
