Technical solutions for passport issuance have been found in Sodra and pharmacies, and the service could launch this week.
“We are waiting for the order of the operations manager, because the Ministry of Health is the manager of e-health and they have to instruct the Registry Center to sign the contracts. And the technological solutions have already been solved with Sodra and a solution has been found with the pharmacies on how the employees of the pharmacies and Sodra could connect and issue passports of opportunity, ”Diana Vilytė, Director of Services Management of the Records Center. on Monday.
“If the operations manager signs the decision today, it is likely that we will have Sodra and the pharmacies connected in a few days this week,” he added.
According to D. Vilytė, a technical solution for issuing a passport has also been found in the Lithuanian post, but “legal and financial issues” remain unresolved.
The Registry Center has also discussed possible technical solutions with lottery organizer Olifėja, who has expressed his desire to join the issuance of opportunity passports.
