“We live in a hybrid war, a hybrid attack. And those attacks happen one after another. All of us in Lithuania fully agree that the increase in the number of migrants is also a kind of hybrid attack, organized mainly by Belarus. Nowhere has this attack ended, it continues, ”said the head of state.
“What happened that night were, in fact, too many coincidences on the same day; both Belarusian television and interviews were shared with them that night, riots broke out and the next day there was a reaction from the Russian authorities … Add to that the confusion at the migrant camp that night. So one might naively think it’s a coincidence, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence, and it’s part of some kind of systemic hybrid attack. The clients, I think, are clear enough, “the only problem is that even some of our government politicians participate in this and participate without evaluating all the consequences for national security,” said G. Nausėda.
He stressed that the day’s rally for restrictions on non-immune people was an expression of a civic stance, and that the evening began with something that “had nothing to do with democracy itself and the desire to express opinions “.
