According to NVSC specialists, unfavorable epidemiological trends are caused by the spread of the delta variety and increased human mobility.

It is already clear that fall will not be easy, so we will no longer have to be delayed by the luxury of vaccination. The highest growth was recorded in the food industry
Last week, twice as many outbreaks compared to the previous period, food industry professionals recorded. There were 16 active outbreaks, of which there were eight in the thirtieth week of the year.
There has also been a significant increase in active outbreaks in the construction sector, where four active outbreaks were recorded last week, while their specialists had recorded twice as much a week earlier – two outbreaks.
At that time, the manufacturing sector for the second week in a row posted 40 percent. targeting the growth of active shoots. Last week, 14 of them were registered, while in week 30 of the year, ten.
The number of active outbreaks in furniture manufacturing and service companies was also recorded last week, but it was not significant. Last week, four active COVID-19 outbreaks were reported in these areas.
In addition, last week there were three outbreaks in children’s camps. No such trends have been recorded on the outbreak map in previous periods.
At that time, the number of active outbreaks in commercial enterprises and social service institutions did not change last week. Five and two active outbreaks were registered, respectively, as in week 30 of the year.
The only area where the COVID-19 outbreaks recorded last week fell was in the logistics and transportation sectors. Last week there were two active outbreaks in these companies, a week ago their specialists monitored three.
In total, 73 active COVID-19 outbreaks were recorded in Lithuania at the end of last week. At that time, in week 30 of the year – 55, in week 29 of the year – 29, in week 28 of the year – 16 active outbreaks of COVID-19 disease, in weeks 27 and 26 of the year – 18 outbreaks assets.
The NVSC recalls that an outbreak is a sudden spread of a communicable disease that affects a limited number of people and / or a limited area, that is, two or more interrelated cases of the disease in time and space.
