M. Ballack and S. Lambe separated in 2012.
During his career, M. Ballack played 98 games for the German national team (1999-2010) and scored 48 goals. In 2002, with the national team, he became runner-up in the world.
In 2004, Ballack was appointed captain of the German national team. He was voted the best German footballer of the year three times.
He has spent the best years of his career at Bayern Munich and Chelsea in London, and has become champion of Germany and England.
