Another vaccination point in Vilnius: you can come from any Lithuanian city without registering

“We chose this location for convenience to bring vaccination closer to the population and there was also a checkpoint and infrastructure that was used by many people. As the scope of testing decreased, we decided to adapt this site for vaccination, ”Viktorija Turauskytė, head of the Vilnius city municipality health care department, told LRT radio on Monday morning.

If it is more convenient for a person to get vaccinated in Lukiškės square, they can go there to get vaccinated. In this case, your registration will be revoked elsewhere.

However, the person has the opportunity to cancel the registration and change the location. You will be re-enrolled at the vaccination point and receive the vaccine at the same time.

Can a person who has just arrived in Vilnius take a walk, stop at this point and get vaccinated?

According to the Vilnius municipality, even those who arrive without registration can receive the vaccine here and at LITEXPO. However, the municipality is asking people to take a few minutes to register and complete it, as vaccines are distributed based on the number of people registered. Therefore, if a large number of people were flooded with a vaccination site, there would be no vaccines left that day.

The vaccination point in Lukiškės square will be open every day from 10 am to 8 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm.
