According to the Kaunas District Municipality report, a few years ago, the Giraitės vandenys company drilled a 150-meter well in a pine forest near LSMU’s Kulautuva Rehabilitation Hospital. The examination of this water by the company “Servicio Ecológico” revealed that it is low in mineralization, very pure, has a mild taste and is even suitable for baby food.
“This project allows us to talk about the revival of Kulautuva. About a century ago, this city was a strong center of attraction: 4 to 7 thousand people lived in it at one time. Already this year, an art installation with a telephone should appear in the center of Kulautuva, from which it will be possible to call the numbers indicated in the telephone book and learn the stories of famous people between the wars. The renowned producer Rolandas Skaisgirys intends to implement this project together with the municipality.
